ah yes i remember this part... ive read this as well... i agree, its good, though my teacher didnt make it the best reading period with this. (she gave tons of hoemwork with it, and talked about atticus like she was obsessed).. anyways..there was a lot of symbolism in this book..i liked it alot..

a girl entering high school got raped at a party and is sorta half mute... mainly to her parents.. and its about her first year dealing with high school after the raping.. i like the style of it.. its the first book ive ever read that actually accurately caught the thoughts within a teen...
