In the beginning of the new millenia, the nation of Japan has colapsed, and the youth are losing their respect for the elders (In japan, kids really respect adults) As a result, the japanese government has develpoed Battle Royal, which is that they pick out a ninth grade class, put them on an isolated island with various weapons and equipment, and a goal: To kill each other until only one remain, and thatīs the "winner".

Itīs both a movie and a manga serie, Iīve seen the movie, and if youīre looking for raw violence, you have to see Battle Royal. The reason they do this, I forgot to tell, is to make sure that kids that can later become everything but good citicens, get killed. In that way, they donīt have to go throught a lot of trials if any of these kids would later comit crimes, and so it makes it easier for the government to control the society. Personaly, I think the whole idea is kinda sick even if itīs just a movie.

Well, I guess I can recomend it as well.......It is uploaded on Youtube, with pretty good quality and english subs, so if you ever think you wanna see it, you can go there. They have Battle Royal 2 as well.........

Do that........I donīt wanted to watch it, the intro scenes were enough for me.........Even if I have seen the ending, I thought the beginning was disgusting.

thereīs a scene where the last survivior from the last BR is being transported away from the island, and reportes are everywhere, and it seems that they think the whole idea with Battle Royal is something good........Itīs freaking crazy, the entire idea of being sent away to an island when youīre about 14-15 years, get armed with semi automatics, and gets telled that you shall kill all others or be killed yourself. And they also get a special necklace, which will detonate and kill them if they try to escpae
