.. yep ive seen the cheap american version... its not so much the voice acting that bothers me... its the repetitivness.. which i see like power rangers...almost every episode... starts of nice finds a bad guy.. gets into a fight where they almost all die...again.. then with just 1 new thing...they completely waste them...

(Your right, it is directed towards girls) It's about a bunch of girls who are infused with indangered animals and they are suposed to fight agenst the evils of a bunch of aliens that have come to thier planes to take it over and use up its resorces, like they did thier own planet (mainly) but there's alot of "mini-stories"...

Just so they have a fighting chance agenst the enimies, because they were like, born with a certain gene in thier bodies that allows that to happen. These two guys serch for them, to activate that gene (because it lies dormant until it is activated, from what I understand)...Some parts are kinda stupid, but most aren't.

what do the animal powers do?

Depending on what animal the girls have, they come with various attacks. Like Ichingo, she's infused with some sort of mountain cat, so she comes with this red heart shaped wepon that shoots out a beam. On girl is infused with a grey wolf, so she gets a small staff that is like a whip. One is infused with a finless porpoise, so she has water attacks. On is infused with a type of bird, and has a bow and arrow. Then the last one is infused with a lion monkey, so she can like, make an earthquake.

thats kinda cheap.. all the others get crappy weapons and she can make frikin earthquakes... theres no dark psychic or electrical powers?
